About Danielle

Danielle is a member of Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society in her graduating class of 2023 at the University of Notre Dame, an honor given to the top 20 percent of the architecture class.  She is from Jacksonville, Florida, and was the Salutatorian of her graduating class at the Episcopal School of Jacksonville.  She became interested in architecture because of her passion for both the arts and mathematics, and she was drawn to the Notre Dame architecture program for its emphasis on classicism, hand-drawing and traditional building craft.  In the summer of 2019, she was one of ten students selected across the country to participate in a US-UK Fulbright Summer Institute at the University of Strathclyde and the Glasgow School of Art studying Technology, Innovation, and Creativity.  In the summer of 2022, she was selected as the sole undergraduate recipient of the David M. Schwarz Internship and Traveling Fellowship Award, where she completed a ten week internship in Washington, D.C. and received a $7,500 grant to travel to Spain to study Mudejar architecture and courtyard building typologies.  In her free time, she is the President of the University of Notre Dame traveling club tennis team, involved with The Shirt Project, and enjoys running, dancing, painting, and sketching.
